Welcome to myRideFinder (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of our GPS tracking devices and subscription services (the “Services”). By purchasing, activating, or using myRideFinder, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Overview

myRideFinder provides GPS vehicle tracking services using an OBD2 plug-and-play tracking device and a recurring subscription. Features may include real-time location, trip history, alerts, and notifications. Service availability may vary based on vehicle compatibility, cellular coverage, and device performance.

2. Eligibility & Authorized Use

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must own the vehicle or have legal authorization to track it.
  • You must comply with all local, state, and federal laws.

You agree not to use the Services to track any vehicle, person, or asset without proper legal authority or consent.

3. Device & Compatibility

  • The tracking device connects via a vehicle’s OBD2 port (typically model year 1996+).
  • Compatibility is not guaranteed for every vehicle.
  • Improper installation, removal, or tampering may affect performance.
  • The device remains your property after purchase; service requires an active subscription.

4. Subscription, Billing & Payments

  • First month: $45 (includes device, shipping, and first month of service)
  • Ongoing service: $25/month, billed automatically
  • Subscriptions renew monthly unless canceled
  • No contracts; cancel anytime by contacting support
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of service

All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

5. Shipping & Activation

  • Devices ship to U.S. addresses only.
  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
  • Service is not active until payment is completed, the device is delivered, and activation details are submitted.

6. Acceptable Use & Legal Compliance

You agree not to use the Services for stalking, harassment, or illegal surveillance; not to track vehicles without ownership/consent; and not to violate privacy or monitoring laws. You are solely responsible for compliance with all laws.

7. Data, Accuracy & Limitations

GPS data is provided “as-is” and may be delayed or inaccurate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Cellular outages, signal interference, or device issues may occur. myRideFinder is not an emergency service.

8. No Guarantee of Recovery

While GPS tracking may assist with vehicle recovery, myRideFinder does not guarantee recovery of stolen vehicles, prevention of theft, or law-enforcement outcomes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, myRideFinder is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the prior 3 months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless myRideFinder from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from your misuse of the Services, violation of laws, or unauthorized tracking.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate service for non-payment, abuse/misuse, or legal/compliance concerns.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
